Tanabata Celebration | Roy’s Station

"Tanabata" is known as the "Star Festival" in Japan. Celebrated during the 7th month (and often coinciding with Obon), people are encouraged to write their wishes on slips of paper, and hang them on bamboo Tanabata trees. In celebration of the Jtown ArtWalk, we invite everyone to stop by Roy's Station, where wishes can be written on slips of paper, and hung on a Tanabata Tree. Origami paper will also be available to fold paper cranes for wishes of peace, which can also be added to the tree.
